The Home Use Program is a Software Assurance benefit available to Microsoft volume licensing customers with active Software Assurance coverage on their Office applications.  Employees who use the covered licenses at work are eligible to purchase these Office applications for use on a home PC during the term of their employment.  This temporary license expires with the employers Software Assurance coverage, or upon termination of employment with the covered customer.

To validate you are an eligible employee, we must verify your email domain and program code is from an eligible, participating Microsoft customer.

The functionality of the products available via HUP matches those of retail versions, and provide all the benefits you would receive if you bought it at the store. However, your right to use this software is tied to your company’s continued Software Assurance coverage and your continued employment with that company. Your employer will notify you if their Software Assurance coverage expires.

You can return to the HUP store at any time to purchase additional products, Language Packs, or Backup DVDs.

If You Don't Receive the Email

1. Check your junk or spam folder.
2. Add “hupenterprise@digitalriver.com” to your email contacts list or whitelist.
3. Request your IT department staff add “hupenterprise@digitalriver.com” to their email whitelist.
4. Click here to resend your email.
5. If you still don't receive the email, contact Customer Support.

Cookies are placed on your browser for your convenience, and the Commerce System used is cookie dependent. When you place an order, information is written onto your hard drive. The next time you place an order the system recognizes who you are and automatically enters your information into the form.

No. Because cookies read information on your hard drive, some think this means they give access to all the information on your computer. Our commerce system encrypts all cookies and they cannot be read by any other web page. The cookie actually contains no personal information, just a unique identifier for our system to recognize this browser.

1. Click the “Download” button.
2. Save the file to your “Desktop”. Do not change the file name.
3. After the download has completed, double-click on the file icon to start the installation.
4. When prompted, use the product key listed on your confirmation page and email to activate your software.

It is recommended only high-speed broadband connections are used to download your file(s). The following are estimates of how long it will take for each file to download depending on your connection.

First, make sure you have entered the product key correctly. If it is still not working please contact our Customer Support .

The product key is available on the confirmation page and your confirmation e-mail. To re-download software you have already purchased within the 30 days of your original purchase, you will need to go to your order information page and press the download button.

No. A download is a simple file transfer. Installation is the unpacking and loading of the software. Most software walks you through this process once you’ve successfully downloaded the file from our site. If you need assistance with installation, please contact Microsoft Office 2007 Support.

1. Go to http://www.microsofthup.com.
2. Enter your work email address and program code.
3. If approved you will receive an email with a link providing access to the store.
4. Once in the store, you can select your Microsoft Office product, as well as purchase additional items, such as backup media.

Once you complete your order a confirmation page will be displayed and an email will be sent to you that contains your product key for activation.

You won't be charged for a bulk order license if your company has pre-paid for the order. If you choose to purchase backup media or any additional products, those will be available at their current prices.

Yes on the purchase site there is an option to purchase backup media with your order.

Minimum purchase quantity to place a bulk order is 20 units.

The minimum quantity order for physical media is 1,000 units. To place an order for physical media or inquire about exceptions to the purchase limit, please contact hupbulk@digitalriver.com

Allow 2-3 business days for invoice to be processed and sent. Upon receipt of the invoice, please remit payment. Once payment is received you will be notified and licenses will be released with instructions on how your employees can retrieve them.

Credit Card, Wire Transfer, PO/Check.

Once your order is entered and you've selected payment method please provide your bank the following. Amount, Account Holder, Bank Account Number, Reference Number, Location, Bank Name, Swift Code, IBAN. Please ensure you use your 'Ref. Number' as your transaction reference when you electronically transfer the money for payment. After confirmation that funds have been received you will be sent an email notification. If a payment is not received within 20 business days, your order will be cancelled.
